Esto sucede porque tu Product Owner no le ve valor al Evento del Sprint, probablemente su mentalidad aun es tradicional, mi recomendación en estos casos es que comience a negociar:

1. Validar cuantos esfuerzo requieres para hacer la historia de usuarios
2. Negocia “que dejo de hacer para hacer esto nuevo”
3. Preguntar por el Valor que esto genera
4. Pregunta ¿Qué pasa si no lo hacemos?
5. Pregunta ¿Cual es captura de valor esperada?

Al final vel el su punto de vista y negocia, en lo posible evitar esta situaciones de lo contrario se repetirá, busca tu Scrum Master o Agile Coach para manejar la situación si se repite o no lograr un acusado de ganar-ganar
